Surface-electrode Ion Trap Development

چکیده

We present a segmented linear surface electrode ion trap design that can be used for various applications in optical clocks and quantum computation based on trapped 171 Yb + ions. Our simulations show calculated depth reach up to several electronvolts the pseudopotential minimum of is located above at distance greater than 80 μm. The described calculations different parameters planar with required parameters. This could scaled store long chain ions logic as well.
